I am a last-year Bachelor student in Industrial Engineering at Sharif University of Technology (SUT). My research interests lie in the span of Optimization Algorithms, and Machine Learning, specially its application in Social Science and Education. In the summer of 2022, I joined the Risk Analysis and Optimization (RAO) lab at EPFL, where I had the great pleasure of working with Prof. Daniel Kuhn. Before that, I had the amazing opportunity of working under Prof. Elliott Ash at ETHz for 3 months.

Imaginary zeroth‑order convex optimization: linear convergence rate July - October 2022

we exploit properties of nonlinear convex real‑analytic functions. Base on numerical experiments, we intend to sharpen a known sublinear convergence rate to a linear convergence rate.

Optimizing a Multi-Day Tourist Route Planning: A Genetic Algorithm Approach to TOPTW July - Present 2024
Supervised by: : Prof. Maryam Radman
In this project, I developed an optimized solution for multi-day tourist route planning, incorporating meal planning for travelers. The approach uses a Genetic Algorithm to solve the Team Orienteering Problem with Time Windows (TOPTW) and combines clustering techniques like K-means and DBSCAN to generate optimal itineraries. The project first evaluates the algorithm using theoretical datasets, including Solomon and Cordeau et al.instances, before validating the results with real-world data from Alibaba Travel Co., incorporating place scores and time windows. The aim is to create customized, efficient travel plans by optimizing route selection and meal planning based on user preferences and time constraints.
